There are 2 easy ways and they're both free!

Many thanks once again.  All successfully sync'd.  I'm really starting to warm to this device now that it's starting to feel a bit more familiar as it all begins to come together.

The final thing that is bugging me is this notification business.  For example, when my Zest is navigating and and e-mail/SMS comes in, you receive an audible notification and a tab pops up that is selectable.  Not so with the Mini - only an audible notification. Any idea if there is an option for sorting this out?

Cheers,

Andy.

This should be part of the Windows Mobile notification system.

From the Sense screen go back to the Settings tab and select 'All Settings' as before. Now select the 'Sounds and Notifications' control and swipe to the Notifications tab. You will see a list of 'Events' in the top box. Tap the down arrow and scroll to the one you want to alter and select it. Now in the lower part of the screen you should be able to select a sound for the notification and also whether to show a screen message, flash the LED or vibrate as well.

Do the same for each item you want to alter then tap 'Done'

I wish to align the screen on my mini but Ive read here that it can mess up the  because its a capacitive screen.

Does doing a Hard reset give you the  option to align the screen with no negative consequences?

My Mini is the standard one supplied by O2UK but Ive flashed the ROM to the Europe version with SSPL.

You can't manually align the screen with capacitive devices. A hard reset will reset the default alignment but there is no way to alter this.

As capacitive screens are designed to react to a 'pressure area' rather than a precise stylus point, there should be no need for realignment. That siad, Microsoft's implementation of the pressure area is nowhere near as good as Apple's or even Android :(

Thanks for the speedy response neilm!

I will leave it as is then, I just felt looking at the screen that the alignment was a little more to the right but Im probably being pedantic.

Cheers

Welcome to SPG by the way!

As long as you can hit the keyboard letters accurately, it should be OK :)

Sorry mate.  Somehow I missed this post.  Just sorted it all now. What a difference!  Nice one.

Thanks,

AndyM.

Glad it's sorted Andy!

Just as we're getting to grips with the HD Mini, I've moved on to an Android phone :)
