I didn't validate it, I'll test it out on my own 2k7 Exchange Server to ensure I get the problem....

I just tried it and it seems to work on the devices, I get the current task marked as complete, and then the following weeks task created. When I look on Outlook though I get the current task marked as complete but rather than a new task for a weeks time being displayed it's a new task for the same date. Weird.

Yep Wavey that is the bug exactly. I've just asked MS why you guys are unable to view for validation.

Just tried again with the same result (from different PC and ISP!)
I can verify the problem but I also cannot access the verification page as I am getting the same 'Page Not Found' message when I try to login using my .net login.
In addition to the completion of recurring tasks issue, I am also having an issue with changing the date. If I change the date of a task (doesn't have to be recurring for this to occur) from my win mobile phone, it doesn't get moved on Exchange/Outlook.

Glad you are seeing it too! If you change the sate does it change the effectivity date?
