I arrived early at the Cathedral this morning, and as the sun was out and the sky was interesting, I thought it was time to take a couple of photos before choir practice....

Very nice shots indeed, which phone were these taken with?

Thanks.  This is on the HTC Touch Cruise (original version), at the 3M setting.  It takes some brilliant pics in good light, though I find the colour balance a bit on the red side.  But not bad for a phone.

Hmm now you mention it I can see a slight hint of red to the clouds, I'd not have noticed it though if you'd not mentioned it.

This one was taken last night 20 yards from my front door. The guy with the parglidery type thing took off and landed on the football field by the beach

The iphone i'm afraid

i was shocked tbh as every other photo ive taken with it other than close ups are dreadful, really poor. (generally speaking i am useless at photography anyway though)

was walking the dog and saw him circling to land.

Ah ha, I know what you mean about mobile devices (WM or iPhone) -  I tend to find the pics pretty poor quality wise and in conjunction with my limited skills, but every so often a real gem comes out!
