I suspect this would need a specific version of the software to be produced by Panoramic. They would have to decide if it was commercially viable.

6 EEX CHS Enter yields -6.00
6 EEX CHS yields -6.00
6 CHS EEX the EEX is ignored (this could be a bug)
6 EEX - This will subtract x from y and drop the stack
Other unusual happenings:
2ndf Reset 6 EEX X stack display disappears and locks the keyboard until reset again.
Any Ideas?

There are two sub-modes within the RPN mode: "Normal" and "HP Mode"
Each handles EEX (Enter Exponent) differently.
I have been using HP calculators since the mid-seventies when they first came out, so I'll cover that one first.
HP Mode:
To enter 2E-6 while in HP mode type:
2 EEX 6 CHS ENTER
Remember that CHS changes the sign of the number in the X register. So you must enter the number prior to typing CHS.
Normal Mode:
After a bit of experimentation I have figured out how "Normal" mode works:
You enter the mantissa (2) then you enter the exponent (-6) so that the "2" is now in the Y register and the "-6" is in the X register and then hit EEX which combines the two registers as YeX.
Thus 2e-6 would be entered:
2 ENTER 6 CHS EEX
Personally I prefer the HP Mode
Hope that helps.

Totally over my head, but at least we now have it written down for future reference!
