Amazing app, runs smooth and the interface is really well planned for the majority of things.

Suggestions:
  • Will love to have a view for twitpics and not just launch the browser (like pocketwit and twikini)
  • A way to send DM's from anywere not just by selecting the person you want to DM this could go in the bottom-right menu.
  • Add more image services like twitphoto, twitgoo, yfrog, etc...
  • Add more link shortening services like bit.ly, rod.gs, is.gd, etc...
  • Color/icon code the Replies and DM's on the main timeline, it's hard to see when someone replied to you.
  • A way to follow the conversation created by a tweet.
  • More themes or a way to create your own themes

Some problems I found:
  • Problems rendering some special characters like < > they appear like < > on the timeline

I love this app and it replaced pocketwit on my Omnia :D
keep the great work

I will def. pay the 4 bucks for it :D if at least the inner app twitpic viewer comes in the next version :D

Great application !!

Unfortunatly, i would like to report a very annoying bug on my HTC Touch diamond 2 (Stock French ROM WM6.1 from SFR) :

The moTweets works correctly when i use my Wifi connection but it is unable to connect when i use Edge or 3G (SFR internet mobile connection).
In this case, in French, it says : 'Identification en cours' then 'Echec de la connexion à Twitter'.

I am sure it's not due to a bad configuration on my phone because i tried PockeTwitt and Twikini and they work without any problems with all kind of connections.

I think moTweets is the best program in its class so i hope this problem can be corrected in the next release !!

So continue the good job !

Thanks,

My functionality suggestion would be to re-map the left or right DPAD movements to allow quick replying to highlighted tweets.

I've not had any problems using MoTweets over 3G & GPRS though, that's interesting.

Thanks for the great suggestions!  I've put them on our list of feature requests so hopefully they will get in to one of the next few releases.

Have you ever gotten moTweets to work properly for you?  When you have an existing connection set up (like when you use internet explorer beforehand), does moTweets work?

Also, if you get that error message, and then press the refresh button again, does it work the second time?

Thanks.

moTweets works only when i have an active wifi connection.
moTweets does not work when i have an existing (previously established before running moTweets) Edge or 3G connection setup.
It does not works the second time (after pressing the refresh button).
The only way (for me) to run it is to have a wifi connection established.

I also tried a soft reset before using moTweets (to be sure there is not any conflicts with another program running) but the problem does not disappear.

I have not any problem with the others programs using internet.
I have actually : opera, spb weather, spb radio, google maps, google youtube, coreplayer (youtube works without wifi), yomomedia, RSS hub, pocketwitt, twikini...
