Hi, I just purchased moTweets. Interface seems great but I also have connexion problem using 3G connexion using a Touch HD
I'm on French SFR operator.
Other Twitter Clients work fine.
Will you solve this soon? Maybe you already have a solution?
Thx in advance and gratz for this soft
Hello,

We're currently working through this issue.  Would you be able to tell me, have you ever been able to get online through GPRS?  Is there any work-around you've done to get it working?

Thank you.

Thx for the answer.
The only way i got Motweets working is through WiFi
No problems surfing using GPRS .Weird
BTW, MoTweets looks promising!

Good Luck

I already previously reported the same problem (i am too on the French SFR network).
I would like to add another information (i hope this could help).
I tried to disable the SFR proxy from my Internet mobile connection (WapSfr) because i suspected this was the problem.
The others Internet programs (listed in my prevoius post) work properly (with the proxy disabled) but moTweets continue to be unable to connect (in GPRS, 3G or Edge).
So the problem does not seem to be related to the SFR proxy.
It only works with Wifi for me.

I like the moTweets interface so i hope you can do something about this connectivity problem.

Thank.

If anyone is experiencing the GPRS connection detection issue would you be able to email us at "support @ panoramicsoft.com" so we can send you a beta version to try out?  We're pretty sure we have a fix for it but we need to have you try it out to make sure it works.

Thank you.

I'm trying MoTweets (freeware) on my Treo Pro and Touch Pro 2 at the moment and it looks good! At the moment I prefer it a little more on the Treo actually.

The suggestions made in THIS post are really something I think would be a great welcome to the program.

At the moment you don't support Dutch. I can translate this to Dutch if you want me to.
Some programs I've worked on concerning Beta testing and translation:
- SBSH PoketBreeze
- SBSH FExplorer
- WebIs PocketInformant
- MagiCall
- Freeware Stopwatch app

These are just a few that come to mind at the moment.
Most of the time the reward in return was a free copy of the program, but that's up to you of course.

If you are interested in a Dutch translation please contact me.

Thanks for such a nice Twitter program!

Only one thing stopping me from switching from Pocketwit and that is the ability to auto refresh while the my phone is off/display off.

I have a Samsung Saga, and I am having the same problem with refreshing. I have set it to update every 1 minute, and it has now been 12 and the app has not auto-refreshed.

Also have sent vibrate alert to ON and it does not vibrate (I do hear audio alert when I manually refresh).

I love the fact that when it refreshes, it goes highlights the first unread tweet/first since last update. I love the options and interface. Just wish it would auto-refresh while running in the foreground, and especially if running in the background. I also would like to see a "preview" for pics like what PT does (using twitpic, yfrog, etc.). Another suggestion previously mentioned was a differentiation between DM's and @replies. (would be nice so you don't @reply to a DM) One more thing....PT will let you set the # of min you want as a refresh rate. 1 is almost too frequent, and 15 too long. I have PT set for every 2 min (if not, I'll leave it at 1 min, if we can get it to auto-refresh)

If I can get it to autorefresh, PT will be GONE from my phone!
This app has come a long way from the first one I used :)

Hello and thank you for the offer for translation into Dutch.  We are actually getting moTweets translated into Dutch at the moment which should be out in the next couple days.  When we do have the translations complete we would be happy to send you a free copy if you wanted to check it out.

Thanks again.

Thank you for the feedback.  Currently the auto-refresh is set up so it will only do a refresh when the app is in the background (hidden).  We definately plan on improving this in a future version.

We currently have Panoramic moTweets localized to English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch,  and Japanese.  If anyone would like to translate moTweets into their own language we would be happy to offer you free copies of some of our current software.

Best Regards.

Please do! I will post a review on my website about moTweets when it's available in Dutch!
