PC backup program?

Yes- definitely in my default exclusions list.

I've not tested to see if it actually applies the exclusion!

Thats because you are starting with an empty list. If you start your target drive/folder then 'Include Everything' then you will see this:

At least, that's how mine seems to work!

Yep I worked that out last night as a few of my jobs has been started via the 'Include Everything' option. Glad also to say if you use the 'Reset' option then the 'missing' defaults are added in.

So all good now!

It seems to be working very well and does suit my backup needs nicely. That and the proper cable have made the 8Tb drive a real benefit. All backed up and still got 5Tb free on the drive.

Well I have to say I've so pleased with the Bvckup2 program that I've just terminated by Crashplan for Small business account, which saves me around £120 a year in backup fees :)
